INTERSTATE
ARTIST OPPORTUNITY
To promote and support ceramic art on a national level Pan
Gallery annually invites Australian ceramic artists living outside
Victoria to apply for a gallery hosted exhibition.
Solo and group shows will be considered.
The successful applicant/s, chosen on the basis of creative
skills, achievements and innovation, will sign a contract with Pan
Gallery to undertake a one month exhibition at an agreed upon
time.
Work may be for sale at the artist’s discretion. There will be a
30% commission on any artwork sold.

Pan Gallery will provide
The gallery space free of charge.
Curatorial and installation assistance if required
Design and printing of gallery formatted two-sided, full colour
DL invitations
Two e-mail invitation distributions to Pan Gallery
subscribers
All advertising, including listing in Art Almanac and
Trouble.
Distribution of press release to media
Promotion of exhibition on Northcote Pottery website
The labeling and catalogue of works
Hosting and catering for opening event
Staff to invigilate and process sales during business hours, Mon
–Fri 9-5 Sat 9-4, for the month of the exhibition
The artist is
responsible for
The cost of freight of the artwork to and from the gallery
The delivery of work, ready for installation, one week
prior to the exhibition’s commencement.
Personal travel expenses.
TO APPLY
Complete the downloadable application
form and submit the following:
exhibition description one page
Give a straight-forward description of how you envisage your
work in the gallery. Include an outline of the ideas you feel will
be explored in the exhibition and how this relates in the wider
context of your practice. Mention any special requirements in terms
of installation.
curriculum vitae one page
support material
Provide a maximum of 6 examples of your work as digital images
in jpeg format.
Include name, date, materials and dimensions of all works and a
brief description of the relation between your support material and
the proposed show. It is preferable that the support material
relates directly to the exhibition description, however material
that clearly indicates your ideas and work approach is
adequate.
