Proposals to exhibit at Pan
Gallery
Our rationale is to provide an exhibition space for emerging and
established artists with a programme spanning solo, two-person and
curated group shows.
Exhibitions are of two or four weeks duration and the cost of
exhibiting is $440 for two weeks or $660 for four weeks (inclusive
of GST) plus the printing cost of the invitation. A 50% deposit
will be required on confirmation of exhibition booking with the
balanced paid prior to installation. Pan Gallery collects a 30%
commission on the sale of art work. The gallery undertakes the
artwork for a DL postcard sized exhibition invitation.
Proposals are received and considered on an ongoing basis.
The gallery is also available for shorter events such as
performance and other arts-related functions providing they do not
interfere with previously booked exhibitions.

Gallery space and floor
plan
Pan Gallery inhabits a large corner at the rear of the pottery
supply shop. The two walls (top and right in the floor plan
above) are white and the floor is sealed grey concrete. To the left
as you look at the space is a doorway leading to the kilns and
manufacturing area. The space can be lit by four fluorescent
lights and/or three rows of halogen track lighting with
adjustable spots. Twenty-six plinths of various sizes are available
for use but artists are welcome to provide alternative display
equipment. The area is accessible by forklift.

Application
procedure
Pan Gallery accepts
proposals from individual artists, collaborations between two or
more artists and artist groups with or without a curator. The
decision to host the
exhibition is made by the gallery manager and the owners of
Northcote Pottery Supplies on the basis that the proposal meets
with one or more of the aims of the gallery.
Proposals are to be mailed
or delivered in person. There is no application form as such but
the following offers guidelines for the presentation of
