PROPOSALS

Our rationale is to provide an exhibition space for emerging and established artists with a programme spanning solo, two-person and curated group shows.

Exhibitions are of two or four weeks duration and the cost of exhibiting is $440 for two weeks or $660 for four weeks, inclusive of GST. A 50% deposit will be required on confirmation of exhibition booking with the balanced paid prior to installation. Pan Gallery collects a 30% commission on the sale of art work.

Proposals are received and considered on an ongoing basis.

The gallery is also available for shorter events such as performance and other arts-related functions providing they do not interfere with previously booked exhibitions.

Use of gallery plinths:    

2 x small     (60cm x 60cm x 60cm height)

4 x medium (60cm x 60cm x 80cm height)

4 x large     (60cm x 60cm x 100cm height)

2 x long      (240cm x 60cm x 60cm height)

Curatorial and installation assistance if required

Staffed Mon-Fri 9-5 Sat 9-4

Public liability insurance

Labelling and catalogue of work

Listings in the Art Almanac and Trouble

Distribution of press release to media and other promotional activities

Design of gallery formatted invitations –

two-sided, full colour DL postcard

Two e-mail invitations sent to Pan subscribers

Promotion of exhibition on web site

Hosting of opening event

Exhibitor responsibilities include

Providing exhibition title and brief

Providing professional photos of artwork

Installation of exhibition

De-installation of exhibition

Return of gallery to exhibition ready state after exhibition

Any freight expenses if required

Insuring own work and/or equipment if required

Printing and postage costs of invitations

Catering for exhibition opening
