PROPOSALS

Our rationale is to provide an exhibition space for emerging and established artists with a programme spanning solo, two-person and curated group shows.

Exhibitions are of two or four weeks duration and the cost of exhibiting is $440 for two weeks or $660 for four weeks, inclusive of GST. A 50% deposit will be required on confirmation of exhibition booking with the balanced paid prior to installation. Pan Gallery collects a 30% commission on the sale of art work.

Proposals are received and considered on an ongoing basis.

The gallery is also available for shorter events such as performance and other arts-related functions providing they do not interfere with previously booked exhibitions.

Included in the exhibition cost

A choice of various sized plinths and lighting to display work

Curatorial and installation assistance if required

Invigilation and sales by Northcote Pottery staff during gallery open hours

Public and product liability insurance

Labelling and catalogue of work

Listings in the Art Almanac, Clay Link and Trouble

Distribution of press release to media

Design of gallery formatted two-sided, full colour DL invitations

E-mail invitation distribution to Pan Gallery subscribers

Promotion of exhibition on Northcote Pottery web site

Hosting of opening event

Exhibitor responsibilities include

Installation of exhibition

De-installation of exhibition

Return of gallery to exhibition ready state after exhibition

Any freight expenses if required

Professional photos of artwork

Printing and postage costs of invitations

Catering for exhibition opening
