YOUR GROUP TO NORTHCOTE POTTERY FOR A POTTERY
ACTIVITY
Northcote Pottery
Supplies offers tailored workshops for individual
schools and organisations. Group workshops make an ideal
school/group excursion and team building activity. Bring your group
(maximum 20 participants) to Northcote Pottery and participate
in a pottery activity. The pottery activity is conducted under the
guidance of a qualified potter. Each participant will take home
their own personal pottery 'masterpiece' made during the class.
Choose one of the
options below:
Small group
maximum 10 participants
OPTION
1: A 3hr Handbuilding
activity or a 3hr Wheel Throwing activity $250 + GST
OPTION
2: A 1.5hr
Handbuilding activity & a 1.5hr Wheel Throwing activity $300 +
GST
Large group
maximum 20 participants
(split into 2
x 10 participants)
OPTION 1: Each group participates in a 3hr
Handbuilding activity $420 + GST
OPTION 2: Each group participates in a 1.5hr
Handbuilding activity &
a 1.5hr Wheel
Throwing activity $420 + GST
Fee covers tuition and
materials but does not include firing or storage of pottery
after the class. Firing cost is $5.50/kilo and
optional.

ACTIVITIES
Wild
Things – Sculptural
hybrid creatures in clay, inspired by the natural (and possibly
industrial) world.
Group Totem
Sculptures – An
activity designed to encourage collaborative effort. You will learn
how to design, construct and assemble your totem pole. Invent your
own theme or let the tutor guide you. (Ideally an all day
activity.)
Underwater
Extravaganza – Create
a sculptural marine environment using all manner of crustaceans,
coral forms, fish and shells etc., as inspiration.
Alternatively, discuss any
topic you have in mind with our qualified tutors and we can develop
a class to suit your requirements.
